Mr Guneet Walia, commonly known in the Indian Film Industry as Bunty Walia is the Chairman and managing Director of The GS Worldwide Entertainment one of the largest events, films and Sports companies in India since 1995.

An eminent businessman and a great visionary and philanthropist who has carved the company from a start-up into a multinational organization. The GS now has multiple verticles under its umbrella.

He has proudly been an integral part of conceptualising, planning, scripting many award functions and 300 Bollywood shows and galas with the biggest names from Bollywood. Wedding Fantastique is a boutique wedding company under the umbrella of The GS Worldwide Entertainment. A 360° boutique wedding planning company specialized in handling high profile Indian and International destination weddings.

Foundation:

Playing for Humanity is a charitable foundation owned and operated by The GS Worldwide Entertainment that collects funds through sports for various charitable causes in India. The Foundation intends to impact impoverished sections of society through sports and football.

The GS Sports:

Mr. Bunty Walia’s expertise includes conceptualization, creation and execution of Sports IPs. He has also worked on various upcoming sports leagues like Mountain Terrain Biking (MTB), Rugby, Lawn Tennis, Beach Volleyball, Handball, Ultimate Kricket League and Handball. Also in the pipeline are IP’s And sports properties for the Gulf and the UAE.

All Stars Football Club

In the last 10 years The GS Worldwide Entertainment has diversified into the sports verticle; Mr. Bunty Walia and his company created and founded the All Stars Football Club that plays football for raising funds through charity. ASFC has played 21 matches in the last decade raising a lot of funds for various causes and charity.

Jaipur Pink Panthers – Pro Kabaddi League

Since the inception of the Pro Kabaddi League, Mr Walia has led the execution of the all-around management of the Jaipur Pink Panthers (JPP) franchise which includes hiring of staff, Player Auction strategy, Logistics, Marketing, Venue Operations and running of the team successfully and helped JPP become one of the most popular teams in the league for the last 7 seasons.

Chennaiyin FC – Indian Super League

The GS has worked with the team of Chennaiyin FC for four seasons managing all aspects of the venue operations at the team’s home venue, Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai. The GS executes the stadium branding, look and feel, hospitality and stadium operations needed for the production of home matches.

Ultimate Table Tennis

Mr. Walia played a pivotal role in the creation of the sports property Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) along with league owners 11Sports. The GS Sports handles the entire league management mandate and have successfully executed it over three seasons so far.

Kings XI Punjab – Indian Premier League

The GS successfully executed the stadium branding mandate at the home venue in Mohali, Punjab with work involving aspects such as stadium and team hotel branding, entertainment zone, look and feel of the owners and corporate boxes etc.

India Open 2017 – Seamaster ITTF World Tour

India Open 2017 was an International table tennis tournament organized in Delhi under the aegis of the Table Tennis Federation of India. The GS successfully executed the tournament operations at the venue ranging from production aspects of the venue  such as branding, sound and lights, look and feel, hospitality etc.

Managing Home Matches for Chennaiyin F.C. in AFC Cup

The GS has worked with the team of Chennaiyin FC to execute and manage all the matches for play off stage in AFC Cup at TransStadia Football Arena in Ahmedabad.
