For the 6th edition of Pro Kabaddi, the franchise had to shift to Panchkula for their home games. The home leg was scheduled from December 14th to December 20th 2018 at the Tau Devi Lal Sports Complex in Panchkula. As the league started to come towards an end, Jaipur Pink Panthers’ home leg closed in and was scheduled to be the second last league stage venue. In the month of December, Panchkula saw low temperatures which made the management of the venue, challenging and tough. Tau Devi Lal Stadium was looking at Pro Kabaddi for the first time and allotment of the spaces were to be done according to the spaces available at the sports complex.Allotment of branding spaces to the central and franchise sponsors was done and respective pieces were put up to create the look and feel of the stadium. The venue had a capacity of 2880 seating for the games. A separate bleacher was constructed to accommodate VVIP guests like the franchise owner, Abhishek Bachchan among others. Due to low temperatures during the event, security and other manpower faced a challenge to work during match timings. Prior planning and kitting kept the teams to work efficiently.Jaipur Pink Panthers won two matches and tied 2 out of the 6 total matches at their home venue. Abhishek Bachchan was present for 5 matches and supported the team with his presence. The team is out of the play-offs race but received good support at Panchkula and the experience has been very good for the city as Pro Kabaddi had come for the first time to the city.
