A memorable Lamhaa!! Rahul Dholakia has said Lamhaa is an attempt to present the true picture in Kashmir and break the stereotyped image of violence created by the media over the past two decades. "Media has created an image of Kashmir - of bomb blasts, encounters and firing. But once a person comes  to Kashmir, he finds that there might be something going on in Pulwama or Lolab but life is normal elsewhere in Kashmir. The idea is to break the stereotype created by the media for the past two decades," Dholakia told reporters. Our film is about the pain and suffering of people in Kashmir and the true situation in Kashmir."
